Sample Chapter: THE SEVEN PATHS TO PASSION
Each of the seven aspects of passion is a path back to the center of your most authentic Self. In the truest sense of the expression, they are the paths back to your heart.
They are not taken sequentially, because life doesn’t work that way. We zig and zag and sometimes we backtrack, but ultimately, if we are purposeful and dedicated, we can get to our destination.
One person’s destination is simply to be more fully alive, more awake and aware. A woman we know says, “I created this home over twenty years, and now I want to really appreciate every day I spend in it. It is a major contributor to the delight in my life. I nest and rest here when I need sanctuary, and I play and work here when I feel energetic. It is home base for me, and I don’t want to take it for granted.”
Another person’s passion destination is specific: to paint again, or finally learn to fly a plane, or master a language, or gain custody of a neglected child, or finally get that GED.
The same seven paths apply to them all:

PATH #2: Claiming Your Authentic Power
PATH #3: Expanding Your Comfort Zone
PATH #4: Following Your Bliss
PATH #5: Affirming the YES! to Life
PATH #6: Trusting the Inner Click
PATH #7: Uniting Your Head and Heart
Following the seven paths will unite your conscious, purposeful will with an inner knowing of what is right for you. The paths will be your guide, pointing toward unforeseen meetings, inspired thoughts, and positive connections.
Though some of the terrain may seem unfamiliar, listen and feel for the echo of other times, earlier days when you knew all this consciously.
You know it still. All that remains is for you to act on it.
These words from the German poet Goethe may help to light your journey:
Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative and creation there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.
All sorts of things occur that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance which no one could have dreamt would have come his way.
Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.
Begin it now.
